NATASHA TSAKOS

Branding

Natasha Tsakos is known for pioneering ways of integrating technology with live performance. She has produced and created nine multimedia shows, including two for the Discovery Channel, opened the G20 summit, Tribeca Film Festival, performed at the Super Bowl with Cirque du Soleil, is a Singularity University alumni, and has shared her vision at the TED Conference, Google, the United Nations General Assembly, amongst others. She has written twelve scripts and plays including a full length cartoon for Nickelodeon and “COLOURS a nonsense” which won the Benjamin Franklin Digital Award. She is passionate about the language of interactivity between the imaginary and the real, and creating extraordinary experiences on Earth and beyond.

Jason Fahlstrom is an Executive Evangelist at Google, currently working with Google's top 1000 partners across every major industry to holistically consult their executive teams on how to approach innovation and better leverage technology to effectively drive results for their business. He is also a Senior Consultant and lead for Google's Live Events and Ticketing team and an expert on digital strategy, media planning and Google marketing solutions for the live events and touring industry. For over a decade, Fahlstrom worked with Fortune 500 companies on brand positioning and retail strategy at Ogilvy & Mather, J. Walter Thompson Worldwide and Team Detroit.

BOB DEGUS

Bob Degus is a 20+ year member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, a member of Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He’s an alumnus of the Commercial Theatre Institute’s Intensive on Theatre Producing and is an associate member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre. Over his career, he has been responsible for creating or managing more than a quarter billion dollars of film production. Bob has been significantly involved in films starring Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Gary Sinise, and Vin Diesel, on films as diverse as Pleasantville to Austin Powers. He’s an Adjunct Professor at the Academy of Art University where he teaches filmmaking and Virtual Reality.

Gregg Arst is the President and Founder of Tanna, Inc, an analytics firm responsible for tactical oversight and strategic planning of award winning Broadway brands, performing arts venues, and top e-Commerce ventures.  He previously served as Senior Vice President of Ticketmaster where he was responsible for the strategy and positioning of over 150+ performing arts centers across North America. Gregg formerly spent 20 years working for leading Broadway general-management and producing firms, notably overseeing the North American productions of The Book of Mormon.  Broadway and International productions led by Arst have garnered 36 Tony Awards, 10 Olivier Awards, and over $2 Billion revenue.

CORKA GORTAZAR

Branding

Gorka Cortazar is a digital artist and programmer born in Venezuela, and currently based in London. Gorka explores the relationship between space and stories, bringing narratives to environments through light and projections, and developing creative software as a mean of expression. Gorka moved to Europe in 2008 and has devised over 25 permanent installations worldwide, from the United Kingdom, Finland, Spain, Azerbaijan to Tunisia. Deeply invested in the use of lighting and technology, Gorka recognizes that no tools can offer the expressiveness and flexibility needed for the installations that he works on, so he decided to create his own. He is the founder of UNSTATIC Technologies, a software studio that builds a platform for creative lighting in the architectural market.

RODRIGO ARCAYA

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Rodrigo Arcaya is a programmer and digital artist living in Miami. He has more than 20 years of experience in the development of visual computing systems. As an artist, he has explored the interaction between the audience and technology, specializing in the creation of interactive Augmented Sculptures: projection mapping over three dimensional objects. For the past three years he has been very active in Miami, where he has participated in 18 collective shows, and he has performed live audio reactive visuals for many local and international bands, including Prefuse 73, Fangoria, Palenke, Locos Por Juana and Elastic Bond.

BILL FERRANTE

Bill Ferrante is the Chief Technology Officer at Tech Guys Who Get Marketing. He cut his tech teeth at Database Technologies and Seisint where he learned from Data Fusion pioneer, Hank Asher. These companies were instrumental in catching the Beltway Sniper and dismantling the 9/11 support network. Both companies now exist as the Risk Management division of LexisNexis. Bill later shifted gears to focus on the Internet at AOL where he finished as the Technical Director of AOL’s Publishing Platform. Bill’s team ran the largest platform migration in AOL’s history, operating just over 300 sites which did everything from inventing live blogging to breaking the news of Michael Jackson’s death which virtually melted the Internet.

ROEL VERTEGAAL

Dr. Roel Vertegaal is the founding director of the Human Media Lab. Roel's first degree is in Electronic Music from Utrecht Conservatory in The Netherlands. He did an MSc in computing in Britain, studied design in The Hague, and holds a PhD in HCI from Twente University. Roel is one of the world's experts on eye communication between humans, and between humans and technology. His work on Attentive User Interfaces (AUI) was featured in media across the globe, from Good Morning America to Scientific American. Roel helped create the first north-american conference on eye tracking (ACM ETRA), established alt.chi as the alternative papers venue at the annual ACM CHI conference and advised the National Academy of Sciences. his current interest is in Organic User Interfaces (OUI).

Aydika James is the founder and director of Secret Samurai Productions, an art production and solution engineering team. She leads a core team of artists, scientists, innovators and makers who produce ‘engagement art’ installations across all spectrums. Secret Samurai Productions’ projects range from interactive art installations like the massive 80-foot steel kraken created for Sir Richard Branson, purposefully sunk into the Caribbean Sea established as an eco-friendly art installation, and a philanthropic measure to rehabilitate native marine species, to large-scale mobile art builds, to private sculptures that tells the story of someone’s life. 

VITO INGROSSO

Vito Ingrosso has produced electronic music together with Joachim Hövel under the artist name Hypernature in the early 90s. With his brother Emilio he also formed the group Bad Habits, which among other things released the single Naughty Girls (1985). Vito Ingrosso is the father of DJ set Sebastian Ingrosso.

Jack Hattingh assisted in pioneering the art of 3D building projections in the US. Since the introduction of this visually stunning experience, he designed and implemented 3D projections and Domes around the world for iconic events and acclaimed brands. Jack is a multi-talented, award-winning director based in the United States. His awards include a national Emmy for "The Night the Rains Came", a Gold Medal at the Film & TV Festival of New York, and many others. He directed the Farm Aid concert two years in a row, and has directed and produced television concerts for many international stars, including The Rolling Stones, Sting and Bon Jovi.

Randi Berry is a Founding Partner and the Executive Director of IndieSpace. IndieSpace creates permanent real estate solutions for indie theater artists. Randi’s background is in theater, arts advocacy and commercial real estate and spans over the last 20+ years. Randi is also a founding member and co-Artistic Director of Wreckio Ensemble, a collective theater company that has been producing original work in New York City since 2000. Randi is a member of the Network of Ensemble Theaters, A.R.T. New York and The League of Professional Theater Women. She was named an Indie Theater Person of the Year in 2013. In 2014 she was named An Indie Theater Hero and Influencer and was inducted into the Indie Theater Hall of Fame. In 2015 Randi was named an Indie Theater Leading Light.
